After long and intensive preparations, Sunday, August 31, 2025, was finally the day Hagener AC kicked off its home event.

This year's team, expanded to 24 drivers, could hardly wait for the event to finally get underway. Most of the newcomers had never sat in a kart before the start of the season, but they never lost their enthusiasm for karting, even though there were quite a few hurdles to overcome during the season. All drivers were still enthusiastic at the last race, and the team spirit was stronger than ever.

In Class 1, Lukas Zok started with two super-fast, flawless runs and deservedly finished in second place out of 22 drivers.

This made him the first Hagener AC driver to climb onto the newly restored HAC podium that day.

He was followed in fifth place by Michele Ruggiero, who unfortunately had a bit of bad luck and made a pylon error in both the first and second races.

Nico Kuberczyk took 7th place today despite a pylon error in the first run.

Yordan Ivanic drove flawlessly to 11th place.

Milan Saric also drove flawlessly to 16th place.

Nicoletta Bonello had a pylon error in the first run and thus finished in 18th place.

Adem Sarioglu was very unlucky and had to accept two pylon errors in both runs, finishing in 21st place.

In Class 2, Mick Kuberczyk narrowly missed the podium. He drove two flawless runs and still finished in a superb 4th place out of 33 drivers.

Isabella Romanczyk finished 12th with two flawless runs.

Giuseppe Cariglino was unlucky with two penalty seconds in the first run and four in the second, finishing in 21st place.

Edin Sarioglu was unlucky in the first run with two pylon errors and finished in 26th place.

Ivana Ivanic finished in 27th place with two pylon errors.

Luke Tilgert was also very unlucky today with six penalty seconds, finishing in 30th place.

In Class 3, Ben Winterhager was the next Hagen AC driver to finish on the podium. With two super-fast, error-free runs, he took a fantastic third place out of 35 drivers.

Julian Flamme drove two fast runs but had to accept two penalty seconds in each and finished in 14th place.

Maximilian Kowalski was also unlucky here, receiving four penalty seconds and finishing in 19th place.

Juliana Zok finished in 23rd place with four penalty seconds.

Aurelia Romanczyk finished in 26th place with a pylon error.

Faiz Kovacevic was very unlucky with six penalty seconds in the second run. He finished in 29th place.

In class 4, Calogero Bonello drove two super-fast runs without any mistakes. He was now the third driver from Hagener AC to celebrate a podium finish. He came in 2nd out of 18 drivers.

Luis Jansen had a lot of bad luck in the first run today with a pylon error. Nevertheless, he still managed a good 7th place.

In class 5, Jannik Kretschmer drove his last preliminary race in the youth kart slalom. Due to his age, he will not be able to compete next year. Jannik drove two fast, error-free races. Unfortunately, he was unable to prevail against the very strong competition and missed the podium by two places. He finished 5th out of 20 drivers.

Maximilian Bruins drove a great lap time and, despite a pylon error, finished in 13th place.

The team also had reason to celebrate a podium finish today.

Team ranking: 3rd place!

Congratulations to the team!

Congratulations to each and every driver who gave their all once again.
